Lagodekki Crested Gentian

Gentiana
Gentian
Truly beguiling, our Gentian selections display tubular flowers, colored in some of the most dazzling shades of blue imaginable. Once good drainage and a cool position are provided, these low spreading beauties are relatively undemanding.
Hailing from the higher elevations of the Caucasus Mountains, this AGM-victor’s tailored habit readily adapts to garden settings. The natty, low-growing cushion is distinguished by compact emerald-green leaves and dazzling 1½ inch, trumpet-shaped cobalt-blue flowers with luminous white throats. Adored by bees, hummingbirds and garden visitors, it enjoys evenly moist, well-drained sunny nooks, endures heat and humidity and makes an exquisite addition to troughs, rockeries, perennial borders and atop garden walls.
Blooms July–September
Size: 8" high x 12" – 15" wide.
