at Digging Dog

Corydalis

The closest relatives of this striking genus are the bleeding hearts. The Greek name, meaning “crested lark,” alludes to the graceful, birdlike appearance of the flowers, which grow in racemes among ferny foliage.

Corydalis ‘Canary Feathers’ partial shade  new plant

Parented by Corydalis moorcroftiana and Corydalis wilsonii and bred by Janet Egger, ‘Canary Feathers’ sings brightly when planted with Persicaria ‘Red Dragon’ and Helleborus ‘Pink Frost’. Zone 6/7.
